What is the purpose of NMI?

• NMI Mission Statement:
  To mobilize the church in mission through praying, discipling, giving, and educating.

• NMI Objectives:

• To encourage people to pray for all efforts of world evangelization
• To inform people of the world’s needs and what the church is doing to meet those needs
• To challenge children and youth to learn about and participate in the mission of the church
• To raise funds for mission outreach

What are the 4 Core Principles of NMI?

• Praying – Interceding for leaders and churches and for the Holy Spirit to draw all people to Christ (see http://www.nazarenemissions.org/Praying/Topic.aspx)
• Giving – Devoting ourselves and our resources, including World Evangelism Fund, to extend Christ’s kingdom (see http://www.nazarenemissions.org/Giving/Topic.aspx)
• Discipling – Mentoring and involving all people, including youth and children, to make Christ-like disciples in the nations (see http://www.nazarenemissions.org/Discipling/Topic.aspx)
• Educating – Sharing the mission story of the church; instilling passion for mission.  We provide resources and support for the local churches as it informs and educates its members, not only in what other Nazarenes are doing in mission, but how they can be involved as well.
