The Dudes Ministry at Reynoldsburg Church of the Nazarene exists to help men walk as Jesus walked. Our passion is for men to be empowered, equipped, and unleashed for the Kingdom of God. (I John 2:6 – Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did).
Men:
This is the very heart, passion, and vision of the Dudes Ministry – to help you in taking the next step. You were created to make a difference and an impact. Join us and be strengthened in your walk with Jesus Christ.
Come and Fellowship: For men checking out the claims of Jesus Christ or men who are new in their Christian faith. Dudes offers group events (20+ men), such as the Golf Scrambles, Hiking & Camping, Paintball, and Men’s Night Out, to introduce guys to next-step opportunities in an exciting, non-threatening environment. (1 John 1:7 – But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin.)
Come and Follow Me: For men wanting to grow in their relationship with Christ. Whether you are a seeker, new believer, or mature man of faith, our group (20+ men) Bi-Monthly Saturday AM Men’s Bible Study is the place to be! We laugh and learn together as we study God’s Word. The study requires no advance preparation or specific materials. It runs consecutively from fall through spring. (Matthew 4:19 – Come, follow me,” Jesus said, “and I will send you out to fish for people)
Come and Abide in Me: (Preparation Stages) At this level, men are given the opportunity to go deeper in smaller group settings. A variety of short-term group studies on relevant topics will be available. As men study God’s Word, they also develop relationships with other men. These studies require moderate amounts of preparation and usually involve purchasing a specific resource. (John 15: 3-4 – “You are already clean because of the word I have spoken to you. Remain in me, as I also remain in you. No branch can bear fruit by itself; it must remain in the vine. Neither can you bear fruit unless you remain in me.”)
Additional Dudes Opportunities:
Dudes has an accountability initiative that pairs men one-on-one for help and encouragement.
Dudes has an outreach program that helps the disabled or elderly with landscaping & physical labor duties.
Men who walk as Jesus walked will love God with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. They will love others as themselves. They will become better husbands, fathers, workers, neighbors, friends, and better models for others to follow.
