Just finished a great day.  With Tyler in college and Jadon visiting Grand-parents I found myself missing them.  So, I got a call from both of them.  Jadon (age 3) had been driving his electric Ford F-150 on his Grandpas land hauling rocks.  He just had to call Daddy and let me know how much fun he was having.  Tyler (age 22) called to tell me about his week-end and he made me proud when he told me he was “doing his homework”.  It’s so cool to know that he is taking his college education serious.  I just love it when my boys want to tell me about their day.  These things may not be very exciting to you, but they are MY boys and my love for them makes anything they talk about exciting to me.

I think God feels the same about us.  He so deeply looks forward to our voices calling on Him.  I think his favorite time to hear from us is when we just simply want to share our day with Him.  No need for His hand, just His heart.  Our Heavenly Father longs for us to have a desire to share every detail of our lives with Him just because we know that He cares.  Some things we may share with God may not be very exciting to others, but we are HIS kids and His love for us makes anything we talk about exciting to Him.
