Interesting Week.  Of course it all started with Sunday Worship.  But Monday was a little out of the ordinary.  It was both Jadon’s third birthday and our thirteenth wedding anniversary.  Just seems like yesterday that I saw that beautiful dark-haired, dark-eyed beauty walking down the isle.   

I think Jadon had three birthday parties this year.  He made out like a bandit with birthday presents ranging from a race set to a wooden Thomas the Train set.  These three years have really gone fast.  He has moved from baby to little boy before our very eyes.

Milestones are points in life that represent progress.  Carrie and I have had thirteen years together filled with both blessings and challenges.  Through it all we have learned to trust God more and more, even for the little things.  In the past five years we have learned to laugh more often.  Life is way to short.  There have been too many times that I have gotten up tight about things that I should have let go.  Long story short, I am greatful for the progress God is making with our marriage and our family.
